of the darkness

yet I look forward
to your homecoming

of the unknown

to the peeking stars
who add to your beauty
No matter how much you scare me

for I see people bringing down their guards
and facing their hidden demons
I see people removing their masks
and accepting their real skin
I see people enjoying their solitude
with a smile keeping all worries aside
The quietness alarms me
for the world seems so much at peace
Those few hours of complete darkness
is what keeps us alive
for the sun brings along
a new day
to put on new mask
to build a new wall
and wander aimlessly in the rat race...
