What do you seek?
Is it the happiness on other side
or money on your mind
Is it the love of your life
or the friends you couldn't have
Is it the past you craving for
or the present which is unknown
Is it the comfort which brings you home
or the peace which you long for
Is it the bright sunshine
or the darkness of the night
Is it the morning dew
or the stars in the sky
Is it the mountains galore
or beaches pristine
Is it the road you take
or the path you make
Is it the heart of gold
or game of mind
What is it that you seek?

She crept in
through the windows
spreading joy along her path
but still could not embrace him
for everytime she came close
He slipped further away
into the black hole
running away from the joy
which was standing with open arms
ready to engulf him in its glory
who could have imagined
darkness was this afraid of the light
that even after
being two sides of the same coin
they are still poles apart!
